I use Youtube. What is the point of myMovo?
The myMovo search is different from Youtube. The myMovo search engine is constantly monitoring the videos available from major TV networks on their web sites. New videos are added as they are found to the myMovo library - which is now over 100000 top quality and current videos. The search only returns videos from major TV networks and web sites - no user posted or viral videos. The exception is we do have the top rated videos from YouTube, since they are top rated and should be good quality.
What are the times - today, last 2 days, ...?
The nature of the myMovo search engine allows us to record the time that a new video as added to the web. When you search you can limit the results to only recently added videos - keeping your search results free of old videos.
And Quick Links are ... what exactly?
Quick Links list the major sites myMovo currently monitors. Select a link to quickly see videos from that site. Most sites contain thousands of videos, by choosing the time, you can see only the videos added recently for that site. As an example, selecting "CNN" and choosing "today" will show all videos from CNN added today.
Where do the videos come from?
The myMovo search engine finds videos, and adds the name of the video and how to play it to the library. All videos you watch come directly from the web site where the video was found - videos pass directly from the provider to you.
What is the myMovo Mobile Video Platform?
The myMovo platform allows you to easily download any of the videos in our library and convert for your iPod, Zune, Zen, cell phone and most other mobile video devices. You can also search video sharing sites (YouTube, …) and download their videos, convert DVDs for your player, manage podcasts for non-iTunes users, convert your local video and more. Can I share videos with my friends?
Yes ... copy the shortcut to any video and use like any other link.
What countries are supported?
The myMovo search engine searches US, Canada specifically, all other countries are considered International. We are looking for major sites in other countries you would like to see added to our library.
What is the myMovo RSS?
As we find new videos on the web, we make them available for viewing via the myMovo RSS feed. The RSS is continuously updated. Subscribe to our RSS for an up to date list of current videos available on the web. There are many popular RSS Readers, such as IE, Google, FeedDemon and more. myMovo has 3 RSS feeds, one each for USA , Canada and International. Use the RSS link on the myMovo web site to get started.
What is the vision for myMovo?
With the myMovo search engine, we have proven that it is possible to search the web for specific types of information - videos in our case. Our goal is to have an accurate list of all videos available from major networks for viewing around the world – supporting all countries and languages. We’re also using our search engine to look for other types of interesting information across the web. Google is great at searching words, but we see the evolution of search to be a smarter search for "information". myMovo is a glimpse into what the future will hold for internet searching.
Why are there ads?
myMovo is free to the viewer - advertising pays for the site. You can hide the ads in the player by using the "fit to screen" button in the bottom right.
There is a great site with videos but I don’t see it on Quick Links. Can you add it?

The videos I select don’t play. What can I do?
Update both your flash player and windows media player to the latest version. If you are still having issues email support@mymovo.com.
